They are according to my sources. However, you are disputing a friend of mine's comments, who works for a primary HMO owner, who told him that. He had nothing to gain by making it up, and suggested I look into it. I have since heard from others that they leave the premises in a disgusting state. Although the government offers to bring the places back up to standard, they don't use quality materials on a like-for-like basis, opting instead for very cheap alternatives. When I disagree with the government's policy on housing these migrants, my conscience would not allow me to go down that route to make money.
