Exercise Bike

Featured Replies

I have seen recent topics on where to purchase weights but can anyone tell me where I can purchase an exercise bike in Chiang Mai. I don't need all the bells and whistles just a fairly basic bike. I seem to remeber someone posting about a shop that sells second hand exercise equipment but I cannot find the post. All suggestions gratefully received.

You can get them at either Central Kad Suan Kaew or Robinsons in Airport Plaza.

Actually I have seen them in several places at the air port plaza. Have a look around. I do know that as the previous poster said they have them at Robinson's and a good selection of them also.

Try Thai Visa clasified. Its the sort of equipment people buy and then after the intial burst of enthusiasm they sit around gathering dust. If you still want to buy new quite a few outlets at Airport Plaza , Big C

I second that.

i never cease to be amazed at some of the posts on here - the major stores are brimming with them have you looked?

Big C Extra I think has some.

Thanks to those who have given me helpful advice or, like dave2, a bit of humour.

The main reason I need an exercise bike is that I have had a hip and knee replacement and walk with difficulty and a bit of pain. I had hope a bike would help me strengthen my legs. The thought of trawling through a shopping plaza is daunting, to be contemplated only when absolutely necessary. To be pointed to the right place by forum members makes my task a lot easier.

I have tried Thaivisa classified without luck but if anyone knows of a second hand exercise bike I would be most grateful.

ok... well... sorry... maybe if you had explained that I might not have been a bit sarcastic - but it is a bit like 'where do I buy spectacles, or where do i buy china'? if you had said 'I know about the malls etc. and the usual places but I cant get there' that makes more sense - good luck anyway
