Hello all there,

I saw contradicting information on this and searching on the forums give me no relevant results. I am about to apply for a WP and currently holding a tourist visa. My plan is to apply, get the application receipt and fly to a neighbouring country to do the non immigrant B visa; then come back and get the WP.

Is that a proper way to go? I read somewhere that you need to be on a B visa in order to apply (but this makes no sense to me because most embassies will require the WP application receipt).

I don't want to screw it as I have a very limited time to apply before my current visa expires. Thanks for helping! (and sorry if this was answered before ^^)

Per above correct.

Do note that only the WP3 recipt wil not be enough. In the region consulates will also want to see paperwork from the company.

OP, I am just curious if you are aware of all the rules and paperwork (like mario said) that it takes to get the Non-B visa?

If you are aware then great but if not you might want to ask more here before you go as like you said our time is limited and you don't want to screw it up.

Hi Gone,

Not sure about what rules do you mean :-?

About the docs, the company and me are gathering these ones (apart from WP3 receipt):

- Invitation letter

- 2 x recent photos; 3.5 x 4.5 cm

- Copy of company certificate

- Copy of list of shareholders

Am I missing something here?

For the WP we are getting these:

- Form WP2

- 3 x recent photos; 5 x 6 cm

- Letter of employment

- Copy of company registration certificate, including objectives.

- Copy of shareholders list.

- Copy of VAT registration; Phor Phor.01

- Organization chart

- Copy of front page of passport and visa.

- Education certificate and resume of previous employment.

- Health certificate

- Map of place of business.

- Photos of Office inside and outside, with outside showing the company name and address.

BTW, the invitation letter and the letter of employment sounds very similar to me: One saying I need a visa because I will be employed, and the other saying I will be employed. Is it like that?

Thanks again ;-)
