Banning Shakespeare?

Featured Replies

It's getting bad - there will be a reaction at some stage

not long ago some thought censorship is good....can be still found in the computer/internet area.

That Shakespeare thing is about a country where they just happen to dress similar like in Thailand and one guy got powerful and killed the king to get king himself.

Nothing to do with Thailand and the current political situation.

OK Re-opened.

The Thai connection is that the office of censorship has banned the Thai film "Shakespear Tong Tai" a Rhai language film directed by Ing K and Manit Sriwanchapoon - The film is a Thai adaptation of Shakespear's Macbeth.

Thanks to those who PM'd me.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Completely silly!

Why not ban King Lear (eyes gouged out on stage) and Titus Andronicus (hands chopped off on stage)?
