draftvader
In my experience you're going to have to buy the ladder, paint, brushes, lunch, Nam daeng anyway, so you might as well do it yourself! Seriously. Posted with Thaivisa App http://apps.thaivisa.com
BigJohnnyBKK
Don't listen to the nay-sayers, but it's true finding people willing to care about detail work will either make it very expensive (and I have no recommendations in that area as I'm poor) or will take a fair amount of effort. I have a lot of contacts among the poor Thais living around me, so it's always easy to get a crew together to do just about anything if I spread the word, going rate where you can expect some diligence if not enthusiasm would be say B500 a day. But I would only bother with this if doing my whole house, just the ceilings in a condo definitely easier, quicker and get a better result doing it myself. If you really want to find a high-quality crew, visit a condo or other site just finishing construction and approach a foreman to come 'round after hours. B2,000 all up plus a case of beer would probably make it very attractive, and they'll bring all the equipment - you of course should choose and buy your own paint.
