Italian man one of four people arrested in undercover drugs sting in North Pattaya

PATTAYA:--An Italian was arrested during a drug sting operation which began in North Pattaya.

Police were made aware of a female suspected drug dealer and arranged to purchase a quantity of crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as “Ice”, from her. An undercover officer, posing as a drugs buyer, contacted Khun Ganigar aged 35 and a meeting point close to the Hollywood Discotheque was arranged.

A bag of “ice” costing 1,000 Baht was handed over and the suspected dealer was arrested. She was then taken to her room at the Suchadar Apartments where 3 suspected drug users were inside, in the process of taking drugs. One of them was Mr. Fabrice Depiset aged 37 from Italy, who attempted to escape by jumping from the balcony of the 3^rd floor room but was arrested.
