Anyone know where one might acquire a video 'background' cloth in BKK? I've just been buying cloth at the fabric store, but I know they make much larger, seamless things especially for video.

Er, also...the fabric shop I usually go to (corner of Asoke and Sukhumvit), is out of the kind of fabric I usually use. Anyone know of a large fabric shop on, or not too far from, Sukhumvit? (Not just a tailor shop or cloth for Indian saris.) I've heard Chinatown has big shops, but I'd rather not go all the way over there....

Have you tried looking, or even enquiring, in the photo shops in MBK, Pantip, Fortune or elsewhere?

I am not sure I know what you are looking for exactly. You state video background... do you mean green screen for chroma key work? Or...?

I know I have seen seamless backgrounds in Pantip and elsewhere. But also, what size do you need? Savage paper have a distributer in Bangkok, so you should be able to get just about anything you need through a store that sells their products.

Well, looks like I'm going to Pantip tomorrow, so I'll inquire there at the photo shops. I suppose they'll know. I hope they know enough English to understand what I'm looking for. I've got something that works for now, so not urgent.
