Dear reader,

I am writing this post on this forum as I am looking for a job in Thailand, which hence to the topic title not should be shocking. :)

I know that many foreigners are looking for a job in Thailand, whether it is because of a permanent relocation or just temporary - to expand their career or just to get some insights of a totally different culture.

Maybe I should start off by introducing myself. My name is Bjørn (english translation: Bear) and yes - it is my real name. :) I was born and raised in Germany, where I have been living for the first 13 years of my live before the entire family relocated to Denmark, hence to my dads changing job situation. My dad is Danish and my mum is German, so I was very fortunate to grow up with both languages and of course both nationalities.

I have been studying Marketing and Sales since 2007 and now, after I graduated as a Bachelor in International Sales and Marketing Management I seek for new challenges and opportunities.

Of course I would love to work within my field of study - as I think that I can help future employers companies´ the most with my newly attained knowledge and talents. If that would not be possible I would also be interested working as a German, Danish or English teacher or do translations for you.

Besides having learned about Traditional Marketing nationally and internationally I have been learning very much about International Sales, Business Law, Logistics, Organization, PR and Communication, Financial Management, Innovation, Global Economy and Global Communication to only name a few of the fields. In my last semester I went for an internship in Santiago, Chile where I helped a newly started company called Pick a Student with all the Marketing and Sales preparation work prior to the launch of the company. I did create Marketing and Sales plans, develop Strategies, establish partnerships and joint ventures, help with overall Business Development and helped launching a school for local Chileans, in order to help them remove their fear of starting and running their own business(es).

Since Chile I have been highly passionate about helping SME´s with their Business Development and have myself "flirted" with the start-up of my own companies. However, it ended up becoming concepts until I maybe some day will find a partner and the necessary funding.

Currently I am unemployed and can not "show off" with too much working experience, as there simply was no time for work within my field simultaneously with the studies. Besides that, who ever knows Kolding, Denmark somehow -s/he will know that there are not too many jobs lying around for students.

However, not to make this post bible-sized here will come some "cold facts" and personal attributes about me and my skills:

Highly motivated, passionate and driven for any kind of project. You have the product/service - I market it and make it a success.

Highly Entrepreneurial minded, so if you have a project or some kind of challenges, I can help you with your Business Development, Marketing or Sales Strategies and/or campaigns.

My specialities within Marketing: Green-, Guerilla, - Online and Affiliate Marketing.

Multilingual: I speak German and Danish fluent, English on a professional level and Spanish on a basic level. I am currently working like a horse on learning Thai.

Salary expectations: Local Standards. So don´t worry. I am not seeking to make your company bankrupt, nor do I expect a special salary only because the European salary level is on the high-end. I want to be able to survive there and have a decent live. I am not looking for living like a king over there, but not necessarily as a peasant either. The golden middle would be good for me.

Attached to this entry/post you will find my Open Application where you will find all the necessary information about me. If however there is something I should have missed PM me, or use the included E-mail address.

As an endnote I will be in Bangkok from May 30th to June 30th in case of you would like to have a personal interview with me or just want to grab a cup of coffee.

So, if you are an owner of a company, work in a company who is hiring or know someone who is, please feel free to contact me.

I am looking forward to hear from you.

Kind regards,

Bjørn Kristensen
