pattayadingo
I need to go to an actual AIS shop to register my sim card. Telewiz shops are no good for this so I need a genuine AIS shop. Where is the nearest to Pattaya, please?
MJCM
According to the AIS website, there are no AIS Shops (only Telewiz) in Pattaya. The only AIS Shops that the website lists for the East Coast are in Si Racha and 1 in Rayong Ais Shop Locations: http://www.ais.co.th...enter_east.html Edited April 15, 2012 by MJCM
LennyW
If this is to activate a new sim for an original/same number that has been stolen/lost etc, then you need to go to Sri Racha
timekeeper
there is an AIS ''shop'' on third road as you come out of the back exit road of big c extra. turn left onto third road, go about 50 metres its on the left before the car wash there's a car park at the back do not look for a big fancy unit its little more than a shack
pattayadingo
Thanks for the replies. I looked for a shops list but the web site does not really seem to list them - at least I could not see any in English. I have had this sim for over 3 years but want to register it. To do that I have to go to an AIS shop with my passport. Looks like a run out in the car to Sri Racha when they re-open after this Songkran weekend.. seasia
Hi I`ve had an AIS SIM for about 2 or 3 years. What is the advantage of registering it please? If it means not having to top up just because the validity is running out, that would be useful. A Thanks to timekeeper for those directions, I`m near there every couple of weeks or so, may try pop in there. Cheers

Also if you lose your sim they will bar numbers, bar use of the sim and replace the sim with the same number. There are other advantages, but those 2 are what I am currently in need of. The AIS shops in Sri Racha and Rayong are the only ones in the link I posted, just feed that in to Google Translate. After you done that, you will get this. Chon Buri 21-23 City Road, Sriracha, Sriracha, Sriracha, Chonburi 20100 2. Hours: Monday - Sunday 9:30 to 18:00 pm (closed holidays). Rayong 550/7 Sukhumvit Road, the Phra Muang Rayong 21000. Hours: Monday - Saturday 9:30 to 18:00 pm (Sunday) (Closed on public holidays). Edited April 16, 2012 by MJCM
