Buy Domestic Tix @ Bkk, Same Day

Thailand, here i come. My first trip and mostly keen on some good food, cheaper golf and a smooth, wet massage. But need to know if I can buy an air ticket at the airport for any flight leaving soon? Like next flight to Chiang Mai, departing in one hour. And will i pay lots more than if i buy online some time in advance? thnx all.

Yes you can buy tickets at the airport, whether it leaves within an hour is another matter

My bad, somewhat ambiguous wording. On web site AirAsia says 4 hrs in advance of departure for tix purchase. So i wonder if there is some minimum waiting time at airport before flight departs, maybe security. Another q: can i use cash at airport to buy domestic tix?

And yes, potentially, you will pay big bucks for a last minute flight. For sure won't get the cheapest fare. But in many cases, you'll only be paying $100 or so more.
