'I Was Tagged, So I Was Just Browsing': Thai Democrat Party MP Nutt

In the past 6 months I've read of fighting, drinking, sleeping and now porn all occurring in Parliament. Which begs the questions is Parliament mirroring society, or society mirroring Parliament!!.

Either way the only thing we can be sure of is that from this story we can summise that Thai politicians are proper wanke_rs.

I 100% agree but the name says it all 'NUT'

Her Excellency was not the only one reading an sms. If you had watched you would have seen who else.

So that makes it ok?

No one kew what her Excellency was actually reading. It culd have been an emergency SMS or a recipe for somtam.

No one said a word about the other person with the cell phone. In fact no mention in the newspapers.

Do I care if an MP looked at an sms in the house iif it was work relaed? No.

Is there a double standard? Yes. Abhisit hasn;t said anything has he?

Aphisit has trouble speaking, unless mommy and daddies money are behind him

Thank you for such an erudite summation, almost Swiftian in it's display of cutting to the core.

Where is Bucholz and his entourage to the lead the screams of shock? The man was inappropriately using his cell phone and admits to it because he was caught. When the PM's image was shown of her looking at her phone, Bucholz and his entourage demanded action. Well, where is that gang now? Why so silent.

Am I to take it that they agree with this Democrat party MP and his taste for pornographic pictures? I am not surprised.

What on Earth on you blabbering on about now?

Quote my post in the other thread where I demanded action against the PM.

Try and get a grip on your ramblings about "entourages" and try and focus on your own posts instead of trying to erroneously perceive as to what threads and where other posters have to post comments on.

As for this thread's issue. It was wrong of the MP to be inattentive to the Parliament session by viewing a non-pornographic pic on his phone. Similarly, those MP's described by Chuwit as also being inattentive are wrong.

p.s. it's Buchholz.

No doubt he will offer his phone for forensic analysis in order to prove his innocence rolleyes.gif .

Good job he's not a PT MP: This thread would probably have been half-a-dozen pages long by now laugh.png .

Dem MP - i page - final post "Storm in a teacup"

PTP MP 256 pages - final post a meandering, disjointed ramble including the words hitler, mugabe, tablet purchase, clone, dictatorship, mass murderer, he can come home anytime he likes, 500 baht, eternal friend and wacky races, biggrin.png

laugh.pngclap2.giflaugh.png

nail on head.

<snip>

This isn't related to the naked lady being flashed up on screen. That incident still has no explanation. This was just a guy who got his picture snapped looking at a pic on his cellphone during parliament

With all due respect;

1. It was a man using his phone in the House when is was not supposed to and,

2. It was an MP with a solemn duty of upholding Thailand's laws, which include a ban on degrading pornographic images.

The fellow screwed up big time.

Please show us where it is shown he was watching 'degrading pornographic pictures' [sic].

If you don't understand why the incident at the funereal is much much worse then perhaps you don't know so much about Thailand. No-matter what you or I think about either incident.

As another said, it's NOT porn. Should he be using a phone during a parliamentary session, no. But hardly worth as much outrage and news as it's getting. Surely there is much more WORTHY news out there.

The fact that the image was inadvertently displayed on big screens in parliament is i think what made it a bigger story than it otherwise would have been.

Fair enough. Good point, but everyone is talking about HIM and not about THAT (which I agree is a much larger issue).

That is the whole point of this setup.

It wasn't in the newspapers. It must have been on Facebook.
