December 24, 200520 yr The Chiang Mai Mail is reporting that there will be a big sale of products made by inmates of many prisons in January. From the website - "The next venue for the exhibition is Bangkok, where almost 100 penitentiaries will be staging a major exhibition from January 12-22." Does anyone know where this exhibition will be in Bangkok? Thanks.
December 25, 200520 yr The one time I attended it was held outside the prison wall in temp buildings built for the purpose. Believe it was the Lard Yao / Klong Prem Prison on Ngam Wong Wan Road. Expect a crowd and that many items may have been pre sold.

December 25, 200520 yr Carved wood, cabinets, furniture and such are the big items. Believe many other hand crafts are also featured. It is a major event each year.
