4 drug users and 1 suspected drug dealer arrested by Pattaya Police

PATTAYA:--A Pattaya Police Checkpoint in Central Pattaya led to the arrest of 4 suspected drug users and one suspected drug dealer on Friday Night.

The checkpoint was situated inside Soi Beokeow close to bars commonly occupied by foreign patrons. The four men were subjected to a urine test at Pattaya Police Station which they all subsequently failed, confirming they had recently consumed methamphetamine. Information from the men led Police to conduct an undercover operation whereby they lured a suspected drug dealer to a bar close to where the checkpoint had been earlier set-up.

He thought he was delivering drugs to a customer but was in fact delivering drugs to an undercover Police Officer.
