Uk 6 Month Visit Visa

Hi,

My girlfriend applied for a 6 month visit visa to the u.k this time last year and was successful and spent 5 months in u.k with me over the summer.

She is just about to apply again.

I was just wondering if there have been any major changes in the application process since this time last year i should be aware of ?

I have strarted reading up on everything again just to refresh what needs to be done.

with regards to the folder of supporting documents, invitation letter, intinerary etc.

is it just a case of updating everything e.g new bank statements , dates of travel etc ?.

The only change that comes to mind is that the fee has gone up!

Yes, you should update all the supporting evidence, especially financial.

Why can give uk 6 Month Schengen Visa?

Other Countrys give only 3...

The UK aren't part of the Schengen agreement...totally different visa for the UK only.
