However, if someone is looking for an alternative to Thailand, perhaps they are looking for something entirely different.Also note, the financial requirements for retirement in Brazil are much higher than Thailand. In what way? Living in Florinopolis, Fortaleza or Aracaju is just as cheap as Thailand in my experience. Parts of Rio are danm expensive but so's Bangkok if you want to live like a Farang.
