April 25, 201214 yr Hey Guys, i am searching for a Muay Thai Gym for monthly training, where i can practise Muay Thai and muscle training. Do you can suggest a good and cheap one? Thanks for your reply.
April 25, 201214 yr Team Quest Thailand is the newest gym in chiang mai. They have a real good atmosphere there, and two superstar fighters working as their main trainers there (one still actively fights at lumpinee, Raja, channel 3 in BKK). They also have grappling classes there if you're into that, they have a top level coach from the states teaching that. It's pretty close to the city, around a 5 minute walk from airport plaza. www.teamquestthailand.com is the website if you need further info on it.
April 25, 201214 yr Wow! I had no idea that these Kickboxing/grappling gyms were so expensive. Is teamquest one of the more expensive ones or is this normal? April 25, 201214 yr Have a look at this place - it's in a back street over near the Phucome Hotel http://www.lannamuaythai.com/
April 25, 201214 yr Author Yes thank u guys, for the quick and good replies. dam_n it - this is really expensive. I paid in Germany for Mixed Martial Arts (Mo,Wed,Fr) ~ 50$. Do you guys also train there?
April 25, 201214 yr I did a summer at Lanna, it was fine for a beginner like me and I felt I learned quite a bit. Each trainer has a different style and you will find ones you prefer. Though some of the more advanced guys made comments about deciding to train elsewhere for something more intense as Andy often is up at the hillcamp site which is an added cost. However, I have heard nothing but good about the that camp and the people who come back to town after a few weeks of intense training show great improvement.

Yeah its pretty normal. its actually the cheapest gym that offers mma. Most of those gyms are upwards of 10,000 a month. Yeah i've trained at the majority of camps in chiang mai. While every one has something good about it. Quest seems to be overall the best, there's no real bad areas. ie. some camps might have good training but shit facilities, etc etc etc
