Pattaya Times Headline

Featured Replies

If you have seen this week's Pattaya Times you would have seen its front page headline 'Pattaya A Role Model For Thailand'

Really! Pattaya a "role mode"l. Let's ponder on what kind of role model Pattaya is:

Pattaya has, in no particular order:

Prostitution

Sex predators preying on underage girls and boys

Drunken foreigners

Corrupt Officials

Beach Scams

Foreigners who have a propensity to jump from high level balconies

A beach not worth calling a beach

Drug addicts

Traffic jams

Muggings by Pattaya's own Lady boys

I am sure the list is not complete but you get the general tenor.

Not exactly a particularly good role model.

Who writes this tosh about Pattaya, oh yes bar owners and real estate staff.

When people delude themselves that there is nothing wrong in Pattaya, nothing will change.

Another Pattaya bashing thread...why do hates even read the Pattaya sub-forum? Mods, care to lock?

It may be Pattaya bashing but I don't see a single item on the OP's list that is not valid.
