Quality Fabrics In Bkk

Featured Replies

Hi ladies,

I figure this is the most suitable forum to post the topic. I intend to buy fabric and make some bed sheets for myself and my friends back home. Strolling around china town was very disappointing. both the quality and the prints didn't appeal to me at all. Do any of you know where i can get some better quality? more suitable to european taste?

Thanks for any help

Have you tried the Pahurat? or Pratunam?

Have you tried the Pahurat? or Pratunam?

Yes, I have. both of them. didn't find real quality ones.

I dont sew, so haven't ever really noticed but of course there is always Jim Thompson if you want seriously high quality!

I find it hard to believe that Egyptian cotton bed linen cannot be found in BKK if one wants to pay the price...the bedding in our house gets hard duty and the wife selects the hard wearing type and I sleep with Daffy Duck most nights with the little niece and Donald Duck cuddled close by...

adaptability is the key word in most cases...

Hi,

Thank you both.

Recently I was told about Jim Thompson and I will be getting there shortly.

Could you tell me where I could get egyptian cotton. That sounds interesting too although I just heard the name before. Never had the touch.
