Anybody have any information on a rocket festival near Vientiane in May of this year (2012).

Ban Na Xon about 60km south of Vientiane on road 13. Date to be confirmed but is usually mid May. I will try to find out the exact date. They are going round the villages collecting money for this at the moment. It is a big festival, but be careful it is quite dangerous. I went a couple of years ago and there was a huge rival gang fight, bottles flying everywhere, it reminded me of a football match in 80's England, brilliant fun.
