Every time I have arrived back in Thailand they have stamped my Departure form and stapled it back into my Passport. I happened to Notice that this time they stapled it in but there was no stamp on mine but the friend I was traveling with had his stamped. Do I need to go down to Imm and have this taken care of ??

Should not be a problem as long as it is stamped in your passport.
