Refill Service For Laser Printer Ink Cartridges?

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know if there is a place in town that can refill the ink cartridges for a laser printer?

Mine is a Samsung "Xpression", with 4 colors (Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, Black). They are very expensive to replace; so I'm hoping that they, like the ink jet cartridges, can be refilled.

Thanks in advance for advice.

Laser printers don't use ink but rather toner. I have never seen them refilling toner cartridges here but if they do then tukom on pattaya tau is the place to ask.

I have asked at almost all of the vendors located a Tukcom and no one there will refill laser cartridges with new toner, the best you can do is find one that has Chinese re-manufactured cartridges.

Since they don't refill black toner cartridges, I seriously doubt if you can find color cartridges at a discount

You should have kept asking. The stall right between the two escalators on the 3rd (?) floor definitely refills some toner carts. Toner carts do tend to have better protection chips than inkjet carts though, and these will generally need resetting to make the refill work, and this isnt always possible.

The specialist place for this is Inkman. There is a shop on Pattaya Klang, opposite the TOT office. I get my B/W cartridge replaced for around 750 baht. They take your old cartridge and give you a "new" one.

I knew of this place, and prior to seeing your note, I went there today, but they're closed on Sundays. I'll try it tomorrow. Their sign says they refill "inkjet and laser". But if they can replace for that price, I'll take it. If that doesn't work, Tukcom will be the last hope before taking out a bank loan to buy new ones!
