My husband and I are looking to fly through the US to Europe from Canada - he's got a Thai passport and Canadian PR status. I assume he needs a transit visa (though i can't find any clear info on that). Does anyone know where i can find more info - like how to apply, $$, etc?

It'd sure be less of a hassle if you could find a flight direct from Canada to Europe. Even if the cost is higher, might be cheaper after considering the Transit Visa C-1 fee to the U.S.

Are you in Bangkok? If so, might be worth while to stop by the U.S. Immigration office on Wireless Road and ask them. Might be that a Thai with Canadian PR would be free, might not be, too.
