sunspun
My husband and I are looking to fly through the US to Europe from Canada - he's got a Thai passport and Canadian PR status. I assume he needs a transit visa (though i can't find any clear info on that). Does anyone know where i can find more info - like how to apply, $$, etc? thanks
Thanyaburi Mac
Check here, and sad to say, it ain't free!! http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_4383.html http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/niv_visa_classification.html It'd sure be less of a hassle if you could find a flight direct from Canada to Europe. Even if the cost is higher, might be cheaper after considering the Transit Visa C-1 fee to the U.S. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Are you in Bangkok? If so, might be worth while to stop by the U.S. Immigration office on Wireless Road and ask them. Might be that a Thai with Canadian PR would be free, might not be, too. http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/embassy/usgmain/uscis.html Mac
