YoungBrit
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knew if there was somewhere to purchase specific football/soccer training equipment such as cones and small hurdles etc in Chiang Mai. Or is it a case of having to order online? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks YoungBrit

I think the sport section is on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Going up the escalator you will find the sport section on the right hand side.
WinnieTheKhwai
Could be cheapest if you don't go to a dedicated sports & fitness store.. For example, cones you can find at Global House and maybe Makro. Small hurdles.. if you can't find any to your liking then they sound pretty easy to weld together from plan metal at some welding shop.

Crikey Winnie, steel hurdles , what about the small blokes who can't get over small hurdles, there legs are going to be in a real mess , if someone was going to make them then surely the blue plastic pipe would be better.
itsMiller
Where do people play in CM? I'd be interested in some drop-in type of play.
kjhbigv
Where do people play in CM? I'd be interested in some drop-in type of play. What is more popular (than full on football) is 5 a side (or how many it is?) on artificial turf, they are cropping up all over the place! These are a few:- http://g.co/maps/mauen http://g.co/maps/dzugv http://g.co/maps/g94tz http://g.co/maps/e5gh3 The first one is where a few lads used to play on a Monday night around 6-7pm, not sure still going though!
