Secure Courier Services

Featured Replies

On Friday 4th May I lost my wallet with my credit cards in. It caused a few problems as I'd paid for flights with one of them. Got that sorted but now the new ones are arriving at my address in the UK. There's only one I need until I get back at the beginning of August. Anyone know of the best way to get one sent over safely? I do realise I may be asking a bit too much.

A lot of credit card companies will deliver replacements to whichever country you are in, most of them without any extra charge. Check with that one if that is possible.

Alternatively, use any of the major courier companies to send it to you, but do not activate the card until it is safely in your hands.

Edit: Added the second paragraph.

Thanks that was quick. Only had time for a traditional Thai cold shower partly in the dark due to 2 brief breaks in power.

I didn't realise they would send them to an address other than the billing one. All a bit of a panic really what with flights to BKK then one to Khon Kaen. Bearing that in mind I may use a courier but phone the card company and tell them what I'm doing.

I'm kinda in the same situation. I had an unusual charge on my card and the bank decided to cancel it. My address is in the US and before I could do anything, it was shipped there. So, I'll bite the bullet and pay for FedEx or DHL to get it over here. Next time, I'll have them send it here!
