California in Uproar as Newsom Condemns Trump’s Troop Deployment as ‘Deranged Fantasy’
I don't know about Marine Corps crowd/riot control training but I have recieved over 24 hours of this type of training. I worked the 2000 Democratic National Convention which was held ironically in downtown LA. It got rather "spirited" and and a handful of "peaceful" protestors threw lit cigarettes at our horses. This could have been tragic. Based upon my experience I did not feel the 24 hours of trainig was actually enough. Most of the time it was like organized chaos and keeping accountability of every officer in the squad was difficult. Also, wearing all the gear for hours was difficult. Obviously the mentality of people is much different now. Back in 2000 few people actually challenged or resisted. Even with that arresting just one person took at times 6 to 8 people (4 to 6 to provide a safey circle while the rest actually took control of the suspect and applied the zip ties). I doubt any combat Marine will be proficient in crowd/riot and I doubt very much an agressive Marine will be very proficient in "de-escalatiing) because us cops were not and still are not good at that during this type of event. -

I need rotator cuff surgery my insurance turned me down where to go for less than 350,000b?
Does this policy have a stipulation that it only covers emergencies? Because if not, then problem was that paperwork submitted did not provide adequate medical justification to establish why surgery, rather than conservative management, was proposed. . Either that, or the surgery really is not medically essential i.e. the injury may heal without it. If so then conservative management would be better. As mentioned this surgery is not always successful. Overall, studies show outcomes with it not to be better than with conservative management https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33419401/ Though in specific individual cases there may be more reason gor surgical intervention than in others. I have no idea if this applies to you. Do not have this in Udon Thani. If you go elsewhere, go to Bangkok. In fact even using government hospital, Bangkok is far better choice e.g. Chulalongkorn or Siriraj. Continue to recommend consultation with Prof. Mason to get clear handle on what can be expected with and without surgical intervention. No -

Where to buy freshly baked bread in Pattaya
That's been my experience too, in that big shop on Thappraya and the smaller one on Sukhumvit not far from Lotus when he had it. Even when they claimed the bread was freshly baked it tasted stale to me. For sliced bread it's the Continental (and Villa also stocks their loaves); for soft rolls I like the Italian rolls and finger rolls from Siamburi's; and for crusty bread I usually get a Tabatiere loaf (unlike anything I ever had in France, lol, but good value and nice bread all the same) at 49 Baht or a baguette from Lotus. Big C has good bread too, but with the traffic on South Pattaya Road (the closest branch to my house) it's a pain to get back home from. -

April vs Axa krungthai vs Axa vs allianaz
Yes he did go from ink to pencil for me too (easy to rub out)...My Policy with April is going to cost 4108usd (130,000+Baht)with no coverage for my eyes. Pacific Cross will/could be under70,000baht (maxima Plan) i wont even ask for coverage for my eyes. Yes the coverage is 5 million baht and not 500,000usd it was with April (way too much imho). Wim was not in favor of Pacific Cross because of the Medical that you are required take. I like the choice of deductibles (40000baht in my case) and the possibility of no claims discount and the choice of local Hospitals Bph and Jomtiem, Memorial, and Pattaya international.
