Magic Shows Thailand

Featured Replies

Not quite the same, but there's a clown that does charity events around BKK, seen his act a few times.

Personally I find clowns sad and scary and this guy pushed all my buttons - but the kids loved him.

I've been to the Tuxedo show and the guy is very good, very slick and professional.

You can get in at the Thai price with your driving licence.

A new show opened in Pattaya at The Avenue Mall. The name is Magic People, Illusion Show World Class. I scored a free ticket so I will take a look at it this week. Normal price is 500 baht.

I went to the Tuxedo Magic show a few years back when he was located on Second Road, just past Big C. I remember the show was ok and I do not have anything negative to say about it. I wish the guy would have relocated to South Pattaya as I thought that being in The Avenue would have been beneficial for all.

^Report back on the new show at The Avenue, I've got rellies with kids coming over to entertain.

There's also a magic show in Naklua, in the building that used to house the North Korean Restaurant, nxt door to The Cove.

The audience are much closer to the stage than at Tuxedo.

Good suggestion. I will make a report.

Off topic political commentary removed.

Apologies. It was too easy, but I understand. Reason noted.

There are about 500 clowns available for various fees - you need to contact the Thai Parliament - you will probably get a discount if you say you loved Thaksin!

They don't wear the red noses and silly make up, but they are even more stupid than any of your regular clowns - the kids will love it!

Apologies for the delay.

I went to the magic show at The Avenue and here are the facts.

500 baht per person to enter and I did not see or notice a separate price for kids.

The layout of the interior, I thought, was pretty good... but I did not view the stage from the end seats. Behind the seats the music/light coordinator was visible and I thought it would have been better if he was more invisible as people walked in.

The Show

The opening consisted of about 6 ladyboys or guys doing a little dance routine which was Pattaya standard as far as quality. The magician was a young guy from Russia.

I thought that the music was too loud and bordered on the loudness of a go-go bar. The show was not so much a magic show but more of an illusion show, which is in fact the name 'Magic People Illusion Show World Class" The illusions consisted of the magician or his assistant disappearing and reappearing on different parts of the stage, levitation, the sword box and a couple of others. No rabbits pulled out of a hat, no doves being conjured, in fact no little animals at all.

The show ran for about 40 minutes.

^sounds like you were not impressed?
