May 18, 201214 yr A small earthquake with a magnitude of 1.7 on the Richter scale was recorded in San Sai district of Chiang Mai province early this morning, the Meteorological Department reported on Friday. The department’s seismic surveillance bureau reported the tremor at 1.21 am today. There were no reports of damage. Obviously San Sai residents are sound sleepers :-)
