Perhaps I am misunderstanding your question but there is an option to follow a topic without having posted. Top right of page, click on Follow this Topic:

Just looked a little deeper. If you are using the Android or iOS (iPhone/Pad) Thaivisa Application then it can be done by pressing and holding on the topic title and Subscribe.

//edit - you posted while I was checking it out and posting. Sorry for the crossing posts. Will have to see what other Nokia users suggest.
