Wife jumps from 2nd floor balcony following bust-up with Husband in South Pattaya

PATTAYA:--A domestic dispute between a Husband and Wife led to a suicide attempt at an apartment block just off the Sukhumvit Road in South Pattaya late on Saturday Night.

Police and rescue services were called to the location and attended to Khun Pantipar aged 30 who was lying on the ground floor directly below broken steel panels. She is known to live on the second floor and had been in conflict with her Husband all night, according to neighbours. Khun Yutana aged 23 accompanied his wife to Hospital where he confirmed the pair had been fighting and without notice,

Khun Pantipar opened the back door to their apartment and jumped over the balcony.

A serious question: Is there something wrong with the drinking water or the air in Pattaya, or are these 'balcony jumps' just copycat suicide attempts?

Nobody drinks water in Pattaya Semper. biggrin.png

From the second floor? Unlikely to result in death unless you land on your head... but could be some serious injuries or paralysis.
