I have a question: What is the best way to transfer about 100k to Australia from a Bangkok Bank, bank account with out a WP? I have read a previous thread about transferring 5m Baht but had no credible answers to my question.

100K ??? Baht or Dollars.

If 100k Baht, no problems, just go to western union. If 100k AUD, you are really going to struggle.

Baht, I wish it were dollars.

No problem, just transfer through SWIFT.

If they ask for a reason, which the probably won't, say its for a holiday.

It gets converted into AUD before leaving Thailand. Which is good, because you get a better rate.

Or tell them it is to pay a debt, which is an approved reason for transferring money out. I moved 2 million out that way; no problem.
