One Day Private House Rental For Retreat?

Featured Replies

I am looking to rent a house for one day/night for a retreat. Not too far from the city, but secluded or with high fence. Nothing illegal will be allowed (drugs, orgies, or very loud music) but we require total privacy.

Any suggestions or referrals appreciated.

Would 'movie making equipment' be involved rolleyes.gif

What garuntee are you posting against any damages? Do you require any furnishings? What about a resort bungalow on the edge of the city?

Not a party by any chance?

No, none of that sort of thing. However, if you have suggested scripts, please post with storyboards 555

Whatever deposit is required by the owner that is reasonable is fine. Depending on the location, we can bring our own portable furnishings - folding table, chairs, sleeping bags, or whatever. However some minimal furnishings would be convenient. Bungalow is fine if it has a private garden, we are not looking for a lot of space or comfort, it is a simple retreat. But we do not want to be disturbed (not including the ever-present barking dogs, temple bells and constructuon noise which I know is unavoidable. )

This could become a regular retreat if we find the right property.

So, what's the reason? I'm dying to know.

Sounds like a private party? You can arrange those from hotels and resorts too, often with a section dedicated to your party, sometimes including swimming pool use, etc.

OP said no party, no movie making, no drugs, no orgies, no noise. But requires total privacy. What does that leave. A seance, illegal abortion..... a troll.....?

I guess you didn't read where he said "retreat".

Oh but I did. That's why I asked if it was for a seance. smile.png As he/she also mentioned "This could become a regular retreat if we find the right property"

Are you nuts? Just rent a dam_n house and leave the rest of us alone.

As new to ThaiVisa but not to webboards in general, I am fascinated by what a desiccated, unfriendly bunch of responses my simple and innocuous post elicited. Are there really so many bitter unhappy people lurking in the ThaiVisa corridors?

I DO thank those posters who have tried to assist, and those who have contacted me via private message regarding available properties and/or suggestions. At first I was confused by why posters contacted me privately. However, seeing how inane or narcissistic many reply posts were, I understand why reasonable people prefer to communicate in private here.

So, what's the reason for renting the house for 24 hours? I lost a lot of sleep last night trying to figure it out. sad.png

That not knowing other people's private matters keeps you up at night is an rather personal admission, and I thank you for sharing.
