My pension is sent on the 24th, unless it falls on a w/end. Usually takes 2 or 3 days, but this month it's still not in my bank. How long are banks supposed to "play" with someone's money?

Depends on what banks are involved. Bangkok Bank London to Thailand is less than 24 hrs.

Mine has not arrived either, perhaps being held back to supplement HMQ 60th celebrations and the Olympics.

Mine is paid every 4th Friday and is usually available on the Tuesday morning.

The pament for week 20 due May 18th was in the KBank on the 22nd.

Cannot comment on UK state pens but for those with military pensions about two working days or can be longer if weekends and public hols are involved.

Xafinity Paymaster the pension administrators pay your pension to Citibank London, then it is sent to Citibank Bangkok and then over to your Thai account. Some months back Bangkok Bank telephoned and asked why the pension is not paid directly to them; "Dunno - ask me one on sport I replied".
