MisterMan
I need a new one and thought it would be great if I could get a bluetooth memory card reader to use with my mac. I goggled it but the results were sort of strange..
Crossy
Do you mean a wireless SD card reader? If so I think the only one is the Maxell Airstash http://www.airstash.com/ it's not BlueTooth but WiFi (and USB). About 100 Quid on eBay.
ravip
I doubt one exists. With todays capacites of memory cards, a bluetooth transfer would take ages http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Lacie-Wireless-Space-1TB-External-Hard-Drive/15268495#Specifications http://www.gizmowatch.com/wireless-hard-drive-top-7-reviewed.html
MisterMan
So there is no way except to plug in a cable?
ravip
So there is no way except to plug in a cable? Why not consider a Wi-Fi device? The more practical solution (wireless) comparing the transfer speed - wired would be the fastest. For example, it is almost impossible to backup my phone having only a 1GB memory card via blutooth, due to the length of time it takes.
