On Arrival Tourist Visa For Eligible Passport Holders

Featured Replies

Hey Guys

So will be reaching Phuket on Indian Passport and I believe we are eligible for on arrival tourist visa.. We will be there (and bangkok) only for a week

Now I believe we need passport photo and money to pay on arrival?

Can anyone tell me

1) What all we need to submit for visa? Can we download and pre-prepare the forms?

2) Is money cash only or do they take VISA DEBIT card on counter?

3) Is there a photo booth or we need to carry pics? or do they click on their own?

4) Any way to avoid queue and go through it quickly? What all we need?

5) Any other tips and things to rememeber for tourist visa and queue

6) Expected time to take in say Early July

Cheers

Pretty sure it's cash only, bring photos, I've seen the forms for download somewhere, hopefully someone will remember where :)

If you can get a Tourist Visa in your current location you will not need to queue (any more than everyone else) at the airport.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

If you have permanent residence in your present location you might be better served to obtain visa there prior to travel.

Believe forms must be filled at window on arrival and proof of financials will be required. Do not know if cash only.

The applicant must possess means of living expenses at the amount of 10,000 Baht per person and 20,000 Baht per family accordingly.

- The applicant must possess a passport with at least six-month validity and must present full paid ticket which is usable within 15 days since the date of entry

- Visa on arrival is provided at 24 designated international checkpoints and applicants should submit the application form duly filled out and to which his/her recent photograph (4 x 6 cm) is attached. The application fee is 1,000 Baht.
