I saw some nice furniture at the Modernform showroom in Sukhumvit (above California Wow gym), but the selection is fairly limited. Can you recommend other shops in Bangkok with high quality, modern furniture?

Try the MBK Centre, Bangkok, Got some way out chairs there also a lot of modern and comtempory furniture.

I think it is on the 5th floor, if i can remember.

Take a look at Index Living store. They got great stuff. There is one on Soi Ekamai and another at Future Park Mall in Rangsit.

Also, driving down Viphaphadi Rangsit Rd past Rangsit area, I've seen a very large furniture shop along side the road with dozens and dozens of nice generic style couches. Bring a translator if you don't speak Thai.

I bought some things from MBK center. They do have one whole floor just for furniture. Very large selection but the quality is all subjective.

All of the large malls such as Future Park mentioned earlier and Fashion Island or Central Rama III have entire floors devoted to furniture stores.
