coffee1.gif Get yourself True visions in HD pal then your picture will provide crystal clarity and you will be much the wiser.

So Carmine, as Mr Red asked previously, enlighten us. Just what was actually said in these 'ALLEGED CHANTS'? Provide us with the links that will enable us to become as wise as yousmile.png

Apart from the post match incident I mentioned previously, all the reports I had read and listened to say that Man U supporters behaved correctly and gave the occasion the full respect it deserved. I can't find any reports of any complaints, from the media, Liverpool FC, Man U or the Police concerning the behaviour of the Man U supporters at yesterdays game................apart from your's of course.

True HD indeed does give a good picture, but not good enough to lipread so, PLEASE, just what chants did you actually HEAR??????

From what i heard on my 40inch HD LEDTV, i just heard united united united, and confirmed by a lad i know who was there, said most reds very respectful, but after the game finished there was a few scousers giving it the plane gestures so the chants back was always the victims never you fault, and murderers which has nowt to do with hillsborough, but about another disaster the have conveniently forgot about, i as more concerned with the constant booing of a player who's only wrong doing is being black!!.

Yes i stated above that was sung after the game, after so called pool fans giving it the plane gestures, those songs are not about hillsborough!!!

Even jason McAateer said >one or two stupid individuals then taunted the man united fans which brought a poor response, what they did was wrong but i can understand theem being provoked and two stupid individuals let themselves down yesterday.

Let me guess you never heard the United fans chanting...“Where’s your famous Munich song?” around 15 minutes after kickoff not long after they had just sung through“You’ll Never Walk Alone” song which was an obvious moment to pay respect for the 96 by keeping quiet for those few minuets.

So a handful of tweets (no doubt hand picked) is now enough to tar all Liverpool fans with the same brush? Maybe then we should say all UTD fans are the same for their baiting.

If your really willing to believe that then it probably sums you up more than anything else. Your either very naive or very stupid, or just seeking attention. From the looks of it a mix of all 3.

Grow up and stop making a fuss pointing the blame game. This is football where even the ex England captain is thought to be racist and people are kicking off about some fan chanting? The best way to knock this stuff on the head is to not talk about it or give it any exposure.

All a player has to do is hit a sq mtr area in the top hand corners of the goal and bobs your uncle fannys your aunt, if a player on 50 grand + a week cant hit them areas then there is something wrong !

Quite right! I wouldn't want any of these prima donnas trying to kick a football through a car tyre at the fair on my behalf. It would cost me a fortune and my supply of goldfish would dry up.

Isn't this what Liverpool have been doing for years now!

If your referring to Hillsborough then as recent events have shown they had every right to and were rightly vindicated. Your point?

Don't bother though just change the subject because you know I'm right.

Yes agree the SYP do need to be brought to justice there was so many cover ups, and the police treated every teams fans shockingly,Hillsborough was a disaster waiting to happen just unfortunate it was Liverpool, your fans have been exonerated of any blame, by a independent panel chaired by the bishop of Liverpool and 4 others with links to your club, so you must be really happy with the findings.

I have never minded being beaten by a better team, but I do object to being beaten by a bunch of cheats.

Liverpool were the better team, even down to ten men, but simply being the better team, will not win you games, it's about how many times you put the ball in the back of the net. Stating the obvious i know...

Regarding the sending off, the only element of it that might be construed as unfair, is that Evans didn't get cautioned as well. I think going in Evan's favour, and against Shelby was 1) the mouthing off Shelby gave the ref earlier and generally aggressive attitude 2) the angle that Shelby came into the tackle at and his straightened leg striking at Evan's shin.

Finally, regarding the penalty, yes, Valencia clearly played for it, and i completely understand being on the receiving end of a penalty that has been played for is bloody annoying, to put it mildly, but there was a hand on his back, it wasn't an imaginary touch, he was pushed, albeit lightly. Now why would any defender do that? Why would they do that, and then be surprised when the player goes down? How about the defender not putting his hand on the striker's back? Might that not avoid players being able to play for penalties?

Was the same with Young last year, albeit a more blatant and dramatic fall. He had the defender grabbing his shirt in the box. Why the <deleted> would a defender do that? Are defenders unfamiliar with this business of players playing for penalties? It's not like at Liverpool you don't have your own players practising this art - plenty of evidence of that with Suarez in this very game - so they darn well should be.

If you don't give the ref a decision to make, he can't make it.

Just to be clear though, whilst i accept players playing for penalties when they have been lightly clipped, knocked or pushed, is part of the game, there is a distinction between that and players not being touched at all and going down. Had this been the case with Valencia situation i could understand Liverpool supporters being aggrieved.

One final thing, do Gerrard and Johnson really think this complaining on behalf of Suarez for the lack of decisions going his way thanks to his reputation, will really be greeted with any sympathy? There is a reason why he has the reputation he does, just like players like Nani and Ronaldo have similar reputations for just reasons. Personally i have no sympathy for any of them, be they players of my team or players of other teams.

Fun match to watch, lots of energy and chances at both ends. Nice to see wayne getting a good long run out and blooding of some of the kids, especially at the back cause we may need some of them in the near future considering our chronically injured first team back 4.

Agree James enjoyed watching that,Rooney had a great game as did Fletcher Anderson and Cleverley, good we are starting to look stronger in depth in midfield. but now our defence is the worry, only two fit central defenders a injury to either will see Carrick back there or one of the young ones blooded.
