rickthailand Posted June 6, 2012 Share Posted June 6, 2012 (edited) my friend is 67 years old and has been on a retirement visa for 3 years. he needs to extend in 2 months he has a pension of 1.900 euro (74.000 baht) he has a letter from the dutch embassy to confirm this . now some one has told him that he also needs to have 200.000 baht in a thai bank account i dont believe that is the case but can someone please confirm that his pension is enough for extension he is not married or anything thanx in advance rick Edited June 6, 2012 by rickthailand Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mario2008 Posted June 6, 2012 Share Posted June 6, 2012 Incoe letter is enough for an extension, but some immigraiton offices might want to see a bankbook with some money in it to verify he has money to spend in Thailand.
