Foreign Gamblers caught at South Pattaya construction site

PATTAYA:--A group of foreign construction workers were allegedly caught gambling at a construction site in South Pattaya in the early hours of Tuesday.

A team of Pattaya Police officers made their way to the site and caught a group of foreign labourers playing cards for money, which is a criminal offence in Thailand. Some were able to escape but four were caught and began by presenting their passports and work permits to Police which confirmed they were allowed to work in Thailand but there was no mention on the documents they were allowed to gamble.
