June 16, 201214 yr I've got it loaded up on a spare computer. I get onto it occasionally. I've been using Windows computers for 20 years, and DOS before that. Man! This Metro User Interface is not intuitive at all! At least to previous Windows users. I think Microsoft is going to face a big backlash of resistance from many existing Windows users (especially at the workplace) once they are getting Windows 8 forced upon them.
June 16, 201214 yr Author What I am wondering is if you have any problems getting updates through Windows Update. I cannot seem to get them to work correctly. As for Metro, I believe it has a different reason for being there. Perhaps Monday we will find out. I use the normal desktop mostly. MSPain
June 17, 201214 yr Author Yes, mine was choking on trying to use Windows Update too. Thanks for the reply. I am still trying to get my fixed. I have to send some files to someone to look at. Coincidentally, when I added Media Center to Release Preview, I had to set the date of the computer back to December, 2011, to activate it. I am sure glad someone had that solution available! MSPain
