Us Immigration Visa Medical Exam

Featured Replies

Hi,

My wife's interview is June 26th. Our son and I land in BKK June 22 late at night, where we will meet up with wife at the airport. This gives us the 23rd, 24th and 25th to have her medical exam. Those days are Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Should we make an appointment or can we just walk-in? The US Embassy provides us the two hospitals and the names of the doctors qualified to perform the exam. Just not sure if we should make appointment or not. I realize it's late to ask, I've always heard you can do this the day before your interview, so I've always assumed walk-ins are fine. Just want to double check.

Anyone do a walk-in and have trouble getting a medical exam that day?

Thanks,

Scott

Well I guess I will reply as no one else has! Wife was able to walk-in on the same day and complete the medical exam. Bounced around to a couple different counters on different floors before it was all said and done, but all in all it was painless and fast.
