MisterMan
Hi i work here and have a small savings and want to send it to America. My online banking (Krungsri /Ayudhya) has an intl swift transfer option. It does NOT ask for a swfit code. Has anyone used this? does it work? What other options do I have for a better rate? Travelers Checks?
gk10002000
Not what you asked but: I have send Western Union from the USA to Thailand and the Philippines. Once I did it online from Western Union's site, once I went down to the local Western Union store. Surprisingly, doing it in person with cash was a few dollars less in fees then doing it all online. So I suggest that if you don't have too much, I am sure Western Union transfer from Thailand should work pretty well.
