November 21, 201312 yr How are the independent gyms around BKK, i.e. not these big, super chains? They're ok for free weights, but tend to lack quality cardio machines and multi-purpose areas (for stretching, isometrics, etc.). Crush Fitness in Silom (the old California Gym) is closing at the end of this month after being open for only 11 months. Very disappointing. Will be interesting to see if our deposits are returned. November 28, 201312 yr Does anybody know if Fitness First (or True Fitness?) offers daily or weekly passes or "memberships"?
December 1, 201312 yr I joined Fitness First last month. Minimum sign up is 5 months. It doesn't compare well with gyms in normal countries as they are too small and no extra weight machines…just 1 of each. Having said that, I've lost 3 kgs in 1 month and feel great. I just can't figure out why all the fat farangs in Bangkok don't exercise….you feel better, look better and longer "endurance".
May 1, 201412 yr Take a look at Crossfit Ten500 in Bangkok. The equipment is great and the staff is really nice.

June 5, 201412 yr Miglore, are you a board sponsor or are you just trying to get free advertising? This is the second thread that you have spammed with your business details. Wonder if the mods can do anything to stop the recent spate of spamming.
