Apple Store & Apple Closest Service Provider

Featured Replies

Hi, I am looking for buying a MacBook Air, where should I go, except online?

I noticed that prices in iBeat in Chaweng are very low, it is strange it is not the same as online, no?

ie macbook air 13 inches 128Gb, 4gb is 33900 and online 39900...

Also where can I go (Surat Thani?) to find an apple service provider that could repair "on the field" my macbook's "topcase" (keyboard)?

Thanks !

No problem with i beat, all genuine products, they are always busy in there selling stuff and i got my i pad from them last october and no problems and if you want to ask them anything they know what they are talking about,as i have been in there a few times.

Thanks,

I believe you, it is quite famous in Thailand, but I still wonder how and why they are cheaper than Apple store,,,

Do you know if they can provide english keyboard?

Do you know if I have warranty problem if I can drop them in Koh Samui?

Thanks

You'll find the prices are pretty much the same, ordering online or buying from Ibeats or Banana IT (same company). or N.Net .....(the small shop who does Apple Repairs, almost opposite Sirison, up from Tesco Chawang. Orange Sign)

It can take 20 days for order through the stores to be delivered, whereas Apple Store, direct will take less than a week... just been though that my self. You just click on the additions you want... price jumps up quickly... but it depends on what you want! wink.png

Post office will make final delivery.thumbsup.gif

Shipment will come from Singapore or Hong Kong. No problems at all doing that! wai.gif

Just to add re reading your price difference "ie macbook air 13 inches 128Gb, 4gb is 33900 and online 39900..." are they i5 or i7? that could make the difference...

My Macbook Air has only English Keyboard, that came from Apple Store, my wireless keyboard is Thai and English, I got that at Ibeats, at same price as Apple Store.... same with magic Mouse.

Check the details carefully, that you are comparing Apples with same variety of Apple! biggrin.png

Maybe that is the price for Late 2011 models and not the new models apple upped the specs a few weeks ago?

Did you compare the specs?

I think I might have been editing with an add on re price, but Buddhavirus, could be correct in it being older 2011 model, I would go for the latest model, which you'll get buying direct from Apple... You should get the next operating system free when it comes out, (soon I think)..... thumbsup.gif

Apple Store Thailande

It's late 2011 model. Look at CPU and graphics. 1.7 ghz i5 and intel HD 3000

New model comes with following specs:

1.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor

Turbo Boost up to 2.8GHz

4GB memory

128GB flash storage1

Intel HD Graphics 4000

Edit: and free upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.
