impulse
Whatever you work out with your license, you should probably read the fine print on your insurance policy. If you drive on an IDP that refers to a revoked or suspended license back home, it could be your insurance will be void. If you drive on a Thai license that refers to an IDP from a revoked license, your insurance may be void. You may never have a problem right up until you file a massive claim and you can be sure that your insurance company will look for any legitimate reason not to pay that claim.
