Settlement Visa

Featured Replies

I have been using an agent, to do my application!

We are meant to be applying on the 3rd July.

Today he has told me that because my bank account is overdrawn on previous balances that it would not be fit for purpose.

My current up to day statement shows a very healthy balance. The agent has said for me to print off only 1 weeks statements to show the embassy!

Is this enough?

I have done 2 tourist visas for my wife and always shown 6 months bank statements.

Please advise me on what to do.

Is my agent correct in there knowledge.

That simply just showing the current upto date balance is ok and not giving the required 6 month statements.

Thank you in advance

I think your in the wrong forum...but you had better say which country your are taking about

I have posted the topic in both forums, with no reply in the other.

It's a UK settlement visa.

I know from previous tourist visas I have had to show 6 months statements. The agent has told me as my account was originally overdrawn, and since Friday has now been brought back to a healthy balance.

Sounds strange to me.
