Picture courtesy of Daily News PHUKET - In a recent operation, police in Phuket arrested two Thai men and one Russian man for drug possession in a luxury condominium. The bust occurred after authorities investigated reports of drug activity in the area. On 10th July, Pol. Col. Somsak Thongkliang led the operation with Deputy Investigators Pol. Lt. Col. Wuttiwat Liangboonjinda, Pol. Lt. Col. Thirawat Amnajchareonying, and Pol. Capt. Wittaya Kulnoi. They raided a condominium near a renowned shopping centre in Wichit, Phuket. The arrests yielded various illegal substances, including 0.7 grammes of ketamine, one yellow triangular ecstasy pill branded "PRADA" and "G/6," and 0.33 grammes of pink powder ecstasy, with a total net weight of 0.07 grammes. A brown paper bag from “HIGHSOSTORE” was also seized. Urine tests confirmed that drugs were present in the systems of the men. The suspects face charges for illegal possession and use of category 1 and 2 narcotics (ecstasy and ketamine) and will be prosecuted according to the law.
