going to jarkarta for holiday,can anyone advise me on currency exchange rates,is it better to change baht/sterling in thailand,or do you get a better exchange rate in indonesia,plus whats the tipping culture there,cheers

Just came back from Bali last week, changing THB into local currency is best done there. I couldn't work out the tipping culture so I didn't establish a baseline, subject best left for others I guess.

EDIT: forgot, you aked about ex rates: the economy is basically US Dollar based so that's what we took with us, USD 100 = 910,000 Rupiah at the airport and around town, very little difference anywhere in the rate.
