Is thailand and the thai people oblivious to the damage plastic carrier bags do to the environment i went into tesco this evening purchased a lettuce some carrots and a tube of sweets the check out girl put the veg in a big bag and the produced a small bag just for the sweets, i buy a paper every day carrier bag, some loose self serve bread rolls in a bag already put into a carrier bag, loaf of bread in a bag into a carrier bag, it drives me mad and when i say no bag thanks they look at me like i must be crazy not to want 20 free bags with my 20 items of shopping.

I thought there was a world wide awareness of the plastic bag problem.

You missed the trick.

Once used the plastic bag is thrown over the back wall.

No back wall....... save them up and burn them.

Problem sorted !
