Hi there!

I just finished my TEFl 120 hour course, and really would like to travel and teach in thailand. I would like to preferably apply for my non- imm b visa in south africa, but do not wish to seek work on the internet beforehand, therefor i cannot present a letter from an employer.

is there any other option? maybe another visa option that allows me to travel to thailand, personally go for interviews and then apply for a non- imm b visa followed by a work permit?

i would appreciate it if you can let me know

regarding this matter.

kind regards

You can apply for a tourist visa, which would give you 60 days, extendeble with another 30 days for 1,900 baht. This would give you time to look for work in Thailand and once found apply for a non-B visa in a neighbouring country.
